Focus: At the Rainbow (Vinyl LP, ) This albums is often considered as one of the best live albums from the 70s. The album, which was recorded at the height of the band's career, still showcases the energy and virtuosity Focus routinely displayed in their live concerts.

Oct 01,  · While the rest of the first side of the album had some pleasant tracks: Le Clochard, a classical guitar and mellotron piece; Janis, a multi-tracked flute offering; and Moving Waves, a piano and vocal solo featuring lyrics by Sufi Inayat Khan; the last track on side one, track 5 of the CD, “Focus II” is a classical jazz fusion instrumental 5/5(1).

"Birds Come Fly Over (Le Tango)" This track was included on the Focus X album, with lead vocals by guest singer Ivan Lins, but this is an unreleased version including the original vocal track by Thijs. "Spiritual Swung" The second piece from the Drum Poetry album, which has no connection with the band Swung, and is another experiment by Pierre.

Birds come fly over: A nice remake of the song "Le Tango" from the Akkerman & van Leer album in the 80's. Ivan Lins sings it very carefully with a bit of an unstable voice. But he does add in some "emotional" extra value to the song. And even if Focus would come up with 10 more versions of Le Tango it is okay with me as it remains a great song /5(31).
